As the team scales, they're looking to hire a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with strong experience developing software for regulated products.The company develops non-invasive medical devices used in real clinical environments. This role offers the opportunity to join a growing engineering team with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and well-structured engineering practices.The RoleYou'll play a key role in the development of embedded software across the full product lifecycle, working closely with hardware, QA, and regulatory teams to deliver compliant, production-ready medical devices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain embedded software for medical devicesWork across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through to verification and releaseDevelop software on bare-metal systems and FreeRTOS using ARM microcontrollersContribute to architecture decisions and technical direction as the product scalesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, etc.)Skills & ExperienceEssential:5+ years' experience as an Embedded Software EngineerStrong C programming skills with solid bare-metal development experienceProven experience working with FreeRTOSHands-on experience with ARM-based microcontrollersStrong understanding of structured software development lifecycles in regulated environmentsHighly Desirable:Background in regulated industries such as medical devices, automotive, or aerospaceExperience contributing to verification, validation, and documentation processesExposure to C++Experience with SoC or FPGA-based systemsPackageSalary up to €75,000, plus bonus, pension, and stock options.
