Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Specialist to join our client, a global leader in manufacturing solutions, based on the outskirts of the city.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and process vendor invoices.
* Process payments for vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
* Maintain and update vendor records.
* Reconcile and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable.
* Work closely with Procurement to resolve queries timely.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate accounting records.
* Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and databases.
* Prepare financial reports for management.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
* Assist with financial audits and compliance-related tasks.
* Process company expenses and revenue returns.
* Generate customer invoices.
* Track overdue accounts and follow up with customers as necessary.
* Maintain customer records and assist with credit management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A strong finance professional who is confident to work independently.
* A minimum of 5 years experience in a broad finance role required.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong Excel skills, including the ability to work with formulas and data analysis.
* Qualification in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration is advantageous.
* Previous experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is a plus.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and reliable.
* Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
