Job Description
The team responsible for compensation related accounting, reporting and analysis collaborates with various departments including portfolio managers, business heads, HR, legal, middle office, IT.
This role demands analytical approach to problem-solving, as well as outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills. It requires keen eye for detail and ability to deliver in fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure.
* Preparing monthly and year-end payout calculations, reporting, analysis and ad hoc requests.
* Work on strategic projects to help increase efficiencies, and cross-functional collaboration with senior management and portfolio managers.
* Reviewing contracts and working on all aspects of Portfolio Manager Lifecycle from structuring of agreements, to onboarding, to compensation calculations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communications with ability to communicate with senior leaders including management and portfolio managers required.
* 2+ years in Finance or Accounting Role, preferably public and/or private accounting background with hedge fund experience in compensation accounting.
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
* Excellent attention to detail with dedication to accuracy, quality, and integrity.
* Good teammate with strong client service mentality, as well as willingness to participate and help others.
