Senior Quantity Surveyor Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This position presents an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the full cost lifecycle of multiple high-value projects-from initial tender through to final account.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead cost planning, estimation, and commercial management across multiple projects.
* Prepare tender and contract documentation, including detailed bills of quantities.
* Conduct feasibility studies and implement risk and value management strategies.
* Monitor progress and ensure cost control is maintained throughout project lifecycles.
* Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations, and final account processes.
* Produce accurate reports, forecasts, and budget analyses.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project success.
* Ensure compliance with all legal and contractual obligations.
* Mentor junior QS staff and support their professional development.
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in fit-out or interiors.
* Strong knowledge of contracts, cost control, and procurement best practices.
* Proficient in relevant software (e.g. Excel, Buildsoft, Cubit, or similar).
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and time-management skills.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics (or similar field).
