Stelfox is supporting a Retail company who operate multiple store locations across Ireland, offering products across various brands in clothing, jewellery, accessories plus more.We are looking to hire an IT Manager who can own, operate and improve the end-to-end IT environment across stores, office, warehouse and eCommerce avenues, which includes leading day-to-day IT operations (incidents / escalations, vendor/supplier relationships and the application stack that ensures secure and stable services for the company and its staff and customers.Key areas of responsibilities will include:IT Operations & supportNetwork, security & infrastructure (VPNs, firewalls, WAN/LAN links, network issues, Backup & disaster recovery).Application & Data (own the Microsoft Business central environment and general Microsoft application environment)Vendor & Supplier management - act as a point of contact for MSP's, POS vendors, ISP and other partners that provide services & third-party support to the company.Compliance & Risk - ensure GDPR compliance and oversee PCI-DSS controls for POS/paymentsProjects & Continuous improvement - for store openings/refreshes (network, POS, hardware)Skills & Experience7+ years in IT operations with 3+ years leading or acting as the senior point of escalation in a retail or multi-site environment.Strong hands-on experience with firewalls/VPNs, switching/WiFi, Windows endpoints/servers, Azure AD/M365.Practical admin experience with Microsoft Business Central, Power BI, and Shopify (plus common retail POS platforms).Proven track record managing MSPs/vendors and delivering upgrades/rollouts across many locations.Solid grasp of backup/DR, security hardening, and compliance (GDPR, PCI?DSS).Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders; calm under pressure during incidents.Qualifications (nice to have)Microsoft certifications (Azure/365/Business Central/Power Platform).Network/security certs (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Security+).ITIL Foundation; project management exposure (Agile/Prince2).AttributesOwnership mindset; proactive and pragmatic problem-solver.Service-oriented with a focus on store operations uptime and eCommerce conversion.Comfortable rolling up sleeves while setting standards and guiding partners.Please notethis role is based in Dublin HQ, however from time to time will need the ability to drive/commute to retail stores.Important- This is very much a hands-on role so not an IT Manager / Head of IT role where it requires people managing large teams of internal IT operational or support staff.
