Premier Surgery, Thurles, Co Tipperary is seeking an enthusiastic, empathetic and professional Nurse to join our team. We are fully computerized with experienced administration staff, caring for a thriving, pleasant and friendly local population.
Responsibilities and Duties
Regular duties will include
* Phlebotomy
* Primary Childhood and Adult Immunisations,
* Antenatal Care (including 2 and 6 week checks in conjunction with GP).
* Cervical Check
* ECG/ ABPM/ Spirometry
* Chronic Disease Management Programme
* Wound Care, Suture removal, Aural Care
* Blood test results - Actions (as per GP/ protocol)
* Manage clinical stock, cold chain and administration of State Schemes
Qualifications and Skills
RGN
Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
Qualification in the following is desirable
* Phlebotomy
* Cervical Smear
Training can be provided for specific practice nursing duties.
Vaccination requirements - Annual influenza, Covid-19 and Hepatitis B.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: €25.00-€28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 – 30 per week
