Electronics Engineer Position Overview:
A skilled Electronics Engineer is required to collaborate with our team in Cork, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics manufacturing and exceptional problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with customers on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects to enhance manufacturability and meet schedule requirements.
* Implement Continuous Improvement activities aligned with business objectives and current cost reduction goals.
* Develop assembly documentation and work instructions.
* Train production staff in assembly procedures.
* Support the Maintenance Team in designing planned maintenance routines for Assembly Line equipment and perform critical Engineering Maintenance tasks as required.
* Provide technical support to production teams.
* Implement process controls such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Control Plan as part of the Change Management process.
Requirements:
* Honours Degree (or Master's) in Electronics or related field.
* At least 5 years' experience in an Electronic Engineering manufacturing environment.
* Demonstrable electronic troubleshooting capabilities.
* Ability to read and understand electronic circuit designs and schematics.
* Excellent multitasking and project management skills.
