International Trader - Beef, Pork & Poultry
This is a key role with an organisation that buys, sells and trades meat products to manufacture top quality food for Ireland and the UK. The company is looking for a budding or experienced trader to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate revenue and margins against agreed targets through effective sales strategies.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
* Develop and implement efficient account planning and reporting systems to drive business growth.
* Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to manage stock and production levels.
* Work closely with other functions within the business to maximise business reach across all markets and sectors worldwide.
* Serve as the company representative in international trade negotiations and agreements.
* Support and execute the overall company and product strategies to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience
* A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the Agri-food, farming, beef, pork, or poultry sectors.
* Proven track record in trading in line with agreed targets.
* Extensive knowledge of the protein trading landscape and worldwide markets.
* Ability to guide and mentor new talent within the team.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good commercial understanding of business environments and social competence.
* Passionate about delivering great customer service.
Requirements
* Fully qualified driver's license and valid passport.
* Will to travel extensively for work-related purposes.
