Job Title: EHS Manager
Role Summary
The EHS Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of company H&S policies and procedures in the company offices & on projects, promoting a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out regular health and safety inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
* Provide support and advice to staff, site supervisors and site operatives on health and safety matters
* Inspect documents and records relating to safety, including risk assessments and method statements
* Communicate safety issues with the project team and other stakeholders
* Conduct onsite training, briefings and toolbox talks to promote health and safety awareness
* Liaise with client teams for all safety matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
* Manage the internal management system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
Requirements:
* Hold a third level health & safety qualification
* Minimum 5 years of experience in H&S supervision in the construction industry
* 3+ years of experience in the civil engineering sector (preferable)
* Proven experience in health and safety in Ireland or the UK (mandatory)
* Experience on construction projects (mandatory)
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Full driving license
