What’s the Role: Support Worker
What It Takes:
An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.
So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff teamsupport our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day to day life.
Where You Would Work: Canal View, Monaghan
We require Support Workers for our new service called Canal View in Monaghan. We have an exciting opportunity for those looking a new exciting role, career change or even their first steps into the health and social care industry. This service will provide care and support for adults with intellectual disabilities.

Full Time, Part Time and Relief to be discussed at interview
*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on qualification/experience. When the role requires sleep-in duties a minimum additional payment of the national minimum wage per night applies.
