Salary Scale:
€89,184 - €98,158 pro rata per annum.
Annual Leave Entitlement:
30 days per annum.
Overview of the Post
The Children's Disability Network Manager (CDNM) reports to the Lead Agency (Enable Ireland) and is responsible for the development of Children's Disability Services within the designated area, in line with National Policy.
The CDNM is accountable for ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe, integrated children's disability services to the population of the assigned Community Healthcare Network, within the allocated resources and in accordance with legislative and service delivery frameworks.
Using the Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young People programme as a model, the CDNM will manage all children's disability staff and provide day-to-day operational line management, ensuring clinical assurance regarding professional supervision and a robust evidence-based clinical governance structure.

The Successful Candidate Will Have
Essential Criteria
Relevant professional qualification in Nursing or a Health and Social Care profession, with statutory registration or professional accreditation where appropriate.
Minimum of five years post-qualification work experience, including three years managing the delivery of children's disability therapeutic services.
Requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability and management skills, for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Health
A candidate must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health that indicates a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
Character
The candidate must be of good character.
Age
Age restrictions apply only to candidates not classified as new entrants under the Public Service Superannuation Act, ****.
Such candidates must be under 65 years of age on the first day of the month in which the latest date for receiving completed application forms occurs.
Transport
Successful candidates must have access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role, as the post will involve travel.
