We work as trusted advisors, combining local insight with national expertise and global reach to help organisations succeed.The OpportunityDue to continued growth within our Financial Services Audit practice, we are seeking a Manager to join our Asset Management team in Dublin or Cork. This position offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of asset management and investment management clients, including investment funds, fund management companies, aviation leasing structures, SPVs and complex group structures. It is suited to an experienced audit professional with strong Financial Services knowledge, who is ready to take ownership of engagements, lead teams and build trusted client relationships within a growing practice.Audit Leadership & DeliveryLead and manage the delivery of high‑quality audit engagements across Asset Management clients.Take responsibility for engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.Design and execute robust audit strategies in line with IFRS, Irish GAAP and relevant financial services regulations.Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders.Proactively manage client expectations and respond to technical and commercial queries.Identify opportunities to add value through insights, recommendations and improved processes.People Leadership & DevelopmentManage, coach and mentor audit teams, including Assistant Managers, Seniors and trainees.Review work, provide constructive feedback and support team development.Promote a collaborative, inclusive and high‑performance working environment.Technical & Practice ContributionEnsure audits are completed in compliance with professional standards, firm methodology and regulatory requirements.Stay up to date on technical developments in Asset Management and Financial Services.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across audit methodology, tools and processes.Skills, Experience & QualificationsACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within Asset Management / Financial Services audit, gained in a professional services environment.Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, Irish GAAP and auditing standards.Experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound professional judgement.Why Join Grant Thornton?Opportunity to work with a high‑quality Asset Management client portfolio.Clear progression pathway within a growing Financial Services practice.Flexible and hybrid working environment.Competitive Manager‑level reward and benefits package.Supportive, inclusive culture that values experience, diversity and individuality.
