We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team for a full-time, permanent position based in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading Tier 1 building and fit-out contractor on a diverse range of residential and commercial fit-out projects across the Dublin region.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and execution of construction activities on-site, ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, quality, and project delivery. You will manage subcontractors, suppliers, site logistics, and work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily management of commercial and residential fit-out projects, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard.
* Implement and enforce health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) procedures in line with company policies and industry regulations.
* Plan and coordinate site setup, security, traffic management, and logistics, ensuring efficient movement of materials and personnel.
* Manage and supervise subcontractors, site personnel, forepersons, and tradespeople, ensuring project production targets are met.
* Work alongside the Project Manager to adhere to the construction programme, focusing on the effective sequencing of finishing trades to optimise quality and minimise rework.
* Monitor and manage site resources, labour, plant, and overheads to maintain project efficiency.
* Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Resolve on-site issues efficiently to prevent project delays.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure seamless communication and successful project delivery.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in site management, specifically within residential and commercial fit-out projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, fit-out processes, and finishing works.
* Excellent understanding of HSEQ regulations and procedures.
* Proven ability to manage subcontractors, site logistics, and construction programmes.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive project success.
* Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor is advantageous.
