Job Description:
We are seeking a Contracts Manager to lead and manage at a senior level, influencing every aspect of the business with emphasis on profitability and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will be adept at organizing and controlling a work bank, fostering influential relationships at all organizational levels working with Scottish Water.
This role requires effective communication, delegation of tasks, and selecting subcontractor teams. The successful candidate will also attend each project regularly, checking on progress and quality, gathering regular reports from site management, and conducting regular meetings.
The point of contact for the Client, this individual must ensure that all their requirements are exceeded. Additionally, they must be able to handle emergency situations, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and attend senior management meetings.

Responsibilities:
* Report regularly to Directors
* Coordinate and manage each project ensuring requirements and deadlines are achieved
* Manage Project Managers and Site Management teams
* Delegate work appropriately through effective communication
* Select sub-contractor teams
* Attend each project regularly, checking on progress and quality
* Gather regular reports from Site Management
* Conduct regular meetings with Site Management
* Be the point of contact for the Client making sure that all their requirements are exceeded
* Be the point of contact for emergency situations
* Ensure that every site member adheres to a strict code of health & safety
* Attend Senior Management meetings
Requirements:
* Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
* 10 years plus experience
* Able to multi-task and work to deadlines
* Able to work individually and manage several civil teams
* Extremely motivated and hardworking
* Water industry/utilities background
* Expert analytical and decision-making skills
* Technical and practical knowledge of the Civil Engineering industry
* Full understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and regulation
* Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
* Full Driving License
