Cost Accountant required with 2 years plus experience in ideally a manufacturing environment.Hybrid. Permanent.Galway city. Responsibilities: Preparation and reporting through Hyperion of monthly financial accounts on a timely basis. Preparation of monthly financial reports for management on a timely basis. Preparation of monthly analytical review of monthly financial accounts. Monitoring and tracking variances on a monthly basis. Review accounting policies and revise local accounting policies where necessary (incl. Sarbanes Oxley requirements). Liaison with the external and internal auditors. Assist in the implementation and development of Financial Systems. Monthly reconciliation of income statement and balance sheet accounts. General Ledger maintenance. Support Corporate planning and forecast procedure. Financial support for plant and corporate projects. Actively engage in continuous improvement and lean business process in Finance by driving incremental improvement to key processes. Requirements: Qualified accountant with ideally 2+ years experience (manufacturing experience preferable). Level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline. Attention to detail and ability to manage complexity. Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues using analytical approach. SAP experience a plus.
