Key Responsibilities Processing Invoices and Payments: Managing accounts payable and receivable, including accurate data entry of invoices, and processing payments to suppliers and clients. Reconciliation: Performing daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations and reconciling various ledger accounts to ensure accuracy. Expense Management: Processing employee expense claims and ensuring they comply with company policies. Assisting with Financial Reporting: Supporting the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Administrative Support: Maintaining organised and accurate financial records, filing documents, and assisting with general administrative tasks for the finance department. Skills and Qualifications: A candidate working towards their ACCA qualification brings a solid foundation in core accounting principles and a commitment to professional growth. They have a strong grasp of: Financial Accounting: Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and the preparation of key financial statements (IFRS, FRS 102). Management Accounting: Skills in budgeting, cost management, and using financial data to aid business decisions. Audit & Taxation: A foundational understanding of audit principles and tax systems.
