Position
Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – Night Team (Permanent, Part Time)
Role Summary
The Night Manager (CNM2) is a key lead role that supports the realisation of Cheeverstown’s Strategic Plan and the Time to Move On National Policy. The CNM2 has responsibility for supported living services across Cheeverstown’s campus and community homes, holding governance accountability, and providing operational management and leadership to night‑shift staff.
Responsibilities
Ensure consistent high‑quality supports are provided in line with best practice and a person‑centred approach.
Govern and manage service areas, maintaining flexibility in governance schedule.
Lead and support night‑team staff, ensuring effective service delivery.
Maintain compliance with HSE Social Care Policy, HIQA National Standards for Residential Services for Adults with Disabilities, and National Safeguarding Policy.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience working in Intellectual Disability Services.
Maintain annual registration with NMBI.
Excellent knowledge of developments in HSE Social Care Policy and National Regulations.
Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience, including 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
Experience in leading a team.
Experience partnering with families and stakeholders to meet service needs and maintain quality standards.
Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role.
Additional Information
All job offers are subject to two successful references, ongoing Garda Vetting, relevant qualifications, a satisfactory pre‑employment medical, and completion of mandatory training both online and on‑site. Salary is in accordance with HSE CNM2 August 2025 consolidated pay scales, based on qualifications and experience. A panel may be formed following the interview stage for future positions, lasting no longer than one year.
Cheeverstown is a voluntary organisation regulated by the Health Information & Quality Authority (HIQA). We provide person‑centred services to nearly 400 adults with intellectual disability in the south Dublin area.
