At BAM, we are looking for a Graduate Junior Buyer to join the team.
The role will be based in either our BAM Cork Office or our BAM Kildare Head Office.
Making Possible Assisting with the procurement process for products and services.
Supporting sourcing, tendering and RFQ activities.
Assisting with supplier management and maintaining supplier information.
Supporting cost control and purchasing administration.
Working with internal stakeholders to support supply chain efficiencies and continuity of supply.
Maintaining and updating procurement systems and records.
All administrative tasks involved in the procurement and buying process .

What do you bring to the role?
Experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential.
3rd level college degree in Business, Business Management, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office & data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SAP).
Experience using procurement software or ERP systems would be preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities to strict deadlines.
Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders.
