Job Title: Design Engineer 12-Month Contract Competitive Hourly Rate About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join a well established team for an initial 12 month contract.
This role will play a key role contributing to innovative projects in the Medical Device industry.
The ideal candidate will be a creative and detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a fast-paced ever changing environment and enjoys solving complex design challenges.
Required: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a design role.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Demonstrated ability to organise and plan work.
The Role: Work with manufacturing and production to establish design requirements.
Developing tool design that will support robust and efficient repair processes.
Complete detailed designs using CAD software.
Develop part and fixture 3D models Develop and maintain documentation related to all creations.
Conduct engineering analysis, simulations, and prototyping.
Provide technical support throughout the design lifecycle, from concept to production.
Ensure all designs meet quality, cost, and performance requirements.
