Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient individual to work as a Teaching Assistant in a school located in Louth, Lincolnshire. This role is for a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position starting immediately with set working hours of 08:30 - 15:30.
The primary responsibility will be to support pupils exhibiting SEMH needs on a predominantly 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of energy and have relevant experience working with children displaying social-emotional and mental health challenges.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following key skills:
1. Promote inclusion by fostering an accepting environment among students.
2. Provide consistent support while responding effectively to the unique needs of each pupil.
3. Create a safe learning atmosphere conducive to student growth.
4. Calmly de-escalate challenging behavior through building trusting relationships.
We require applicants who share our passion for education and have recent/relevant experience working with children, specifically those with SEND/SEMH requirements.
