We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our Sustainable Infrastructure team as an Associate Director.
This exciting role offers the opportunity to expand your expertise and broaden your professional experience while working on diverse range of projects including national road schemes, greenway and active travel as well as major highways design and build schemes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary design teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading design teams to deliver high-quality projects.
* Managing project portfolios, maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing communications across assigned projects.
* Mentoring and managing junior Project Managers within the Highways and Active Travel Sector.
* Supervising and guiding senior and junior team members within the Highways and Active Travel Sector.
* Planning and overseeing design work in collaboration with Engineering Discipline Leads and Technicians.
* Preparing technical reports and tender documentation.
* Coordinating effectively with other project team members and wider infrastructure team.
Requirements:
* A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, with Chartered Engineer status.
* A minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience in the design and project management of highways, greenway and active travel schemes.
* Experience in delivering design and build projects is desirable.
* Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary design teams.
* Strong experience in liaising with clients, external stakeholders and sub-consultants.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project budgets.
