This position will be responsible for coordinating the Warehouse and Logistics operations in our manufacturing facility located in Castlebar, Ireland.
This key role helps to ensure we are maximizing effectiveness of the Warehouse area in conjunction with all key stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Warehouse
Manages and motivates Team Leads and Operators within the warehouse environment.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
In conjunction with the key Meissner stakeholders you will function as part of the Operations Team that assumes ownership of the Warehouse area.
Monitor and maintain inventory in cooperation with Supply Chain to ensure vital inventory is in stock for manufacturing orders.
Conducts regular internal audits/cycle counts to ensure compliance with procedures.
Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste and optimise customer service.
Implement and enforce safety, health, and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
works with facilities to design Warehouse layouts for more efficient use of space and workflow.
Organises inventories to design more efficient space and order picking processes.
Working with other functions to plan for/action future capacity requirements.
Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
Logistics
Take responsibility for the cycle, count process and year end count (KOG and finished goods) for all warehouse stock, ensuring counts are completed timely with all issues thoroughly investigated prior to MVP adjustments.
Assists the Software team to highlight, address MVP issues.
Maintain strong relationships with all logistic providers through good communication.
, and ongoing monitoring of on time performance with dispatched shipments.
Work with Quality (Ltd & HQ), and Logistics providers on any shipment related issues to ensure timely resolution.
Work with Supply Chain to meet with transportation carrier representatives to determine cost and service issues that involve transportation and distribution.
Determines the most cost-effective methods and report findings.
Organise regular meetings with the necessary carriers and ensure that any issues get communicated back to them.
Manage and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments and ensure delays are escalated to the relevant teams.
Prepare reports on logistics operations, KPIs, and cost analyses for management review.
Communicates with Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Cleanroom, Quality, and Finance departments to ensure materials and supplies are available on time with sufficient quality to be released to production.
Qualifications, Education & Experience

Level 7 qualification in Business, Management, Production, Engineering or related discipline would be an advantage.
A minimum of four years of warehouse experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience.
Demonstrates ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and create a positive team environment through active listening, constructive feedback, and continuous coaching.
Ability to analyse and resolve problems as they arise, with the ability to use lean/six sigma or other problem-solving methodologies.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated excellent people management skills, be a team player while leading, coaching and training a team.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in Professional English.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
Must be comfortable building spreadsheets and organizing and presenting data, using pivot tables, building formulas, etc.
Physical Demands
Occasional work may be done in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment.
Powder free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers must be worn.
Because smokers continue to shed thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette and these particles will damage our products, only non-smokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom.
As a result, the successful candidate must be a nonsmoker.
