Overview

This aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility specializes in supporting commercial aircraft programs through advanced engineering services. The site focuses on product integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across a range of aircraft components, including fuel-engine accessories and precision hydraulic systems.


Responsibilities

* Lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring alignment with strategic growth through the New Product Development (NPD) process.
* Represent engineering on the MRO leadership team and act as the Form 4 holder for MRO Services.
* Serve as the liaison between local engineering teams and global CAG technical resources.
* Provide daily engineering support to production, ensuring product integrity and cost efficiency.
* Develop repair capabilities for the MRO facility and third-party products in compliance with regulatory standards (FAA, EASA, CAAC, etc.).
* Create clear assembly and test instructions to support efficient operations.
* Address quality, cost, and delivery issues promptly and effectively.
* Identify and implement business improvements.
* Define and schedule equipment development to support production (e.g., tools, fixtures, test equipment).
* Support lean initiatives and process improvements across the site.
* Apply and develop repair processes to reduce turnaround time and costs.
* Set clear objectives for direct reports aligned with business goals.
* Mentor and develop team members through regular performance reviews.
* Provide technical guidance and foster a collaborative team environment.
* Work closely with other departments to enhance product quality, yield, and cost performance.
* Represent the company in technical discussions with customers and suppliers.


Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Strong technical background in aircraft hardware repair and overhaul, especially in fuel-engine accessories and hydraulic components.
* Familiarity with aircraft engine technologies and current market trends is highly desirable.
* Solid understanding of regulatory requirements.
* Experience with Root Cause/Corrective Action, LEAN, project planning, product line transfer, and data analysis.
* Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.


Additional Requirements

* Must be a proactive self-starter capable of making sound decisions independently.
* Ability to translate broad objectives into actionable tasks.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
