The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, previous experience in events within a 5-star hotel or equivalent, excellent customer service skills, a welcoming friendly personality, and polished professional demeanour at all times.
* Strong organization, communication, selling, and presentation skills are required to prioritize and organize work effectively.
* Able to manage function space and room block inventory to maximize profit, recognizing opportunities to up-sell and offer enhancements to create outstanding events.
The successful candidate will possess knowledge of menu planning, food presentation, banquet, and event service operations, as well as contract management and event technology products and services.
