We are currently looking for Purchasing Administrator to join our team here at Novelplast.
The Purchasing Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Procurement department by managing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Raise purchase orders, ensuring accurate entry and timely placement with suppliers.
* Set up new suppliers, part numbers and maintain control and integrity of procurement related data on the ERP system
* Be first point of contact for all customers across Ireland, UK & Europe
* Be solely responsible for ongoing PET liner project
* Maintaining and update the supplier database, delivery plan, ect
* Monitoring stock levels and forecasting needs to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
* Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier invoices.
* Assist in the preparation of reports on procurement activities
* Report any quality issues to the vendors
* Source new vendors and materials
* Review and answer correspondence where needed.
* Ensure that inhouse policies are followed
* Adhoc tasks as required
Key Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a purchasing or administrative role
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience with ERP or procurement systems is desirable.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
* Ability to work within a team
