We are currently looking for Purchasing Administrator to join our team here at Novelplast.
The Purchasing Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Procurement department by managing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Raise purchase orders, ensuring accurate entry and timely placement with suppliers.
Set up new suppliers, part numbers and maintain control and integrity of procurement related data on the ERP system
Be first point of contact for all customers across Ireland, UK & Europe
Be solely responsible for ongoing PET liner project
Maintaining and update the supplier database, delivery plan, ect
Monitoring stock levels and forecasting needs to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier invoices.
Assist in the preparation of reports on procurement activities
Report any quality issues to the vendors
Source new vendors and materials
Review and answer correspondence where needed.
Ensure that inhouse policies are followed
Adhoc tasks as required
Key Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a purchasing or administrative role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with ERP or procurement systems is desirable.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Ability to work within a team
