We are now seeking a Software Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting, hands-on role combining software configuration, on-site hardware installation, and customer training. If you're a tech-savvy problem solver with great communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality service, we want to hear from you.
The role will be split between customer sites and working from the office.
Responsibilities
* Perform customer audits to assess system requirements.
* Configure and install Time & Attendance, Access Control, and Clock/Bell systems at customer sites across Ireland.
* Provide on-site training to customers to ensure they can confidently use our systems.
* Offer technical guidance and answer queries throughout the installation process.
* Report installation issues to the Technical Services Manager promptly.
* Conduct system maintenance and repairs, both in-house and on-site.
Office-based duties include:
* Providing technical support to customers via phone/email.
* Assisting in the planning and scheduling of future installations.
* Supporting the sales team in technical aspects of customer engagements.
Candidate Profile
We understand that not every candidate will meet all criteria, but we’re particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrateat least 3of the following:
* Experience with HR, payroll, time management or access control software.
* Confidence in customer training and onboarding for business software.
* Knowledge of Windows Server environments.
* Strong networking skills, particularly with TCP/IP protocols.
* Hands-on experience installing hardware such as access readers or clocking terminals.
* Background in electronics or electrical installations.

* Ability to work independently and adapt to varied working environments.
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable using core Microsoft Office software.
* Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
* Proactive learner with a drive for continuous improvement.
