Reception & Concierge Assistant - The Hardiman Hotel, Galway
The Hardiman Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional Reception & Concierge assistant to join our Front Office team. This role combines reception, concierge, and valet duties, and is ideal for someone with excellent customer service skills, strong local knowledge, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome guests and assist with check-in/check-out
* Provide valet parking services and safely handle guest vehicles
* Support guests with luggage and general enquiries
* Provide local information and arrange restaurant, tour, and activity bookings
* Handle guest requests and coordinate with other departments
* Deliver a warm, efficient, and memorable guest experience
Essential Requirements
* Full, valid in date driver's licence
Additional Requirements
* Previous hotel or customer-facing experience
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Knowledge of Galway and surrounding areas
* Experience with Opera Cloud is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends
