Human Resources and Employee Relations Consultant
Our Transformation, HR and Change team offers a temporary client-based role to cover a period of leave, lasting 9-12 months.
Purpose of the role
This position works directly with a specific client to provide strategic and operational HR support to senior management.
Key responsibilities include:
Employee relations – managing investigations, supporting third-party hearings, and union engagement.
Upskilling the HR team and wider organisation, including developing systems, structures and processes.
Participation in other HR functional areas and strategic projects as required.
About the Ideal Candidate
Requirements:
At least 5 years' experience, including substantial employee relations exposure.
Experience with informal and formal resolution mechanisms, union engagement, and supporting hearings such as WRC or Labour Court.
CIPD qualification; ideal to have a formal HR qualification at primary degree or master's level.
Experience within public sector or through consultancy.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of the organisation.
Excellent project management, organisational skills and capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong performer both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
