In this pivotal individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Director of Technical Training, you'll be at the forefront of driving understanding and adoption of SUSE’s cutting‑edge solutions among our valued customers, dedicated partners, and talented internal teams. You will create key assets for our technical training curriculum, crafting structured learning paths and invaluable resources that truly address the needs of our diverse audience. What You’ll Do
* Build and maintain a comprehensive curriculum of technical training materials, covering introductory to advanced topics, to support both product launches and ongoing training needs.
* Collaborate closely with the Director of Technical Training and a talented team of Training Architects, Engineers, and content developers within the Technical Solutions Training team.
* Partner with product engineering, consulting services, and product management to transform intricate technical details into user-friendly training assets that truly resonate with our target audiences.
* Develop training content in a variety of dynamic formats, including videos, graphics, slides, textual guides, and audio recordings, all optimized for seamless online eLearning consumption.
* Dive deep into nominated technologies, becoming an in‑house guru and a go‑to resource for the team.
* Actively contribute to and follow our standardization guidelines for content creation, lab environments, imaging, tools, and content sharing across all training assets.
* Participate in occasional travel to foster strong relationships and collaborate in person.
What You’ll Bring
* A Bachelor’s Degree, relevant IT certifications, or equivalent practical experience in the tech world.
* Proven experience in a software technical training role (or similar), with a focus on enterprise‑level technology and a track record of developing impactful training courseware for both instructor‑led and eLearning environments.
* A solid foundation and hands‑on experience with open source technologies, particularly Linux and Kubernetes.
* Significant advantage for candidates with hands‑on experience with SUSE products and solutions, particularly in Cloud Native technologies such as SUSE Rancher and SUSE Security. Experience with SUSE Linux products, including Multi‑Linux Manager, is also highly valued.
* Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a natural flair for clear and engaging audio and video content creation.
* Strong presentation skills that captivate audiences, whether in a physical classroom, virtual classroom or on recorded video.
* A proven ability to thrive independently and collaboratively within a virtual team environment.
* Experience working effectively with diverse inter‑departmental and international teams.
