Facilities Manager – Corporate/Commercial Property

About the Company
We are currently looking to recruit a building manager/facilities manager to work on some exciting projects with one of Ireland’s most well-known developers. With major expansion plans over the coming years, this role will provide an excellent opportunity to work on some exciting project related to energy management and infrastructure development.
They have a portfolio of large buildings that are occupied by some of the worlds best known brands in the Tech, Finance and Corporate environments. Client facing experience in essential for this role and you will get exposure to some of the most exciting companies in Ireland.
This is not an "on the road" facilities role. Your portfolio of buildings and estates is all in one location.
About the Position
Within the role you will be involved in
* Working across a large portfolio and take responsibility for the management of the facilities.
* Manage assets and utility upgrade projects.
* Design and Analysis of utilities on site.
* Manage building service compliance and Health & Safety
* Managing vendors and sub-contractors on site
* Negotiate contracts with consultants and contractors and manage delivery
* Liaise with internal stakeholders on expansion projects
* Promote energy efficiency plans across the facility
* Management of BMS’s
Experience/Requirements
For this role you must have
* 8 years’ experience in a facilities/building services management role.
* Ideally a Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering.
* Experienced in planning for large facilities
* Preventative maintenance and Reliability engineering
* Energy efficiency experience
* A creative mentality
* A positive attitude and the excellent work ethic.
* People management skills.
* Client facing experience
