Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of the construction firm, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing project cost control and shaping commercial strategy.
* Oversight of full financial management of projects to ensure commercial targets are met.
* Lead subcontractor procurement, management of packages, and payments.
* Preparation and maintenance of monthly valuations, variation submissions, and cost reports.
* Liaison with project managers and site teams to ensure cost efficiency and accurate forecasting.
* Support in contract administration, negotiation, and compliance.
* Monitoring budgets and cash flow, ensuring timely reporting to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
* Minimum of five years' post-graduate experience, preferably within a main contracting environment.
* Strong knowledge of PWC and RIAI forms of contract.
* Proficient in Cubit and Microsoft Excel.
* Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractor accounts and handle complex variations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
