The Opportunity
The Senior Manager – VAT Advisory (Indirect Tax) will be responsible for delivering comprehensive VAT consulting and advisory services. This includes areas like VAT structuring, compliance management, tax audit support, indirect tax reviews, process optimisation, dispute resolution, and improvement of VAT reporting procedures for a diverse client base.
Lead and oversee high‑value client assignments, offering expert VAT technical guidance and building long‑term relationships with client stakeholders.
Play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of new VAT automation tools and indirect tax technologies, ensuring both the business and its clients are aligned with the latest developments in VAT legislation and best practices.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, encouraging knowledge sharing and career growth within the VAT and indirect tax sphere.
Candidate Profile – What You’ll Bring
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in VAT consulting, Indirect Tax advisory, or VAT compliance roles, preferably within a leading consulting, accounting, or tax environment.
Recognised professional qualification (AITI/CTA or equivalent) and a solid academic record.
Proven commercial awareness and the ability to interpret and advise on VAT regulations and indirect tax changes impacting client businesses.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex VAT matters to a variety of audiences.
Experienced leader who can inspire, coach, and develop teams in VAT technical skills and service delivery.
A proactive approach to adopting new technologies and driving continuous improvement within the VAT and indirect tax field.
