Technical Design Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)Location:On site / Dublin, IrelandJob type:Permanent / Full-timeIn partnership with our client (One ofIreland's leading Civils and Utilities company's),who is currently looking for an experiencedDesign Project Managerto join their team, with a background inwater infrastructure designandProject Management.TheDesign Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)will lead theDesignandCoordinationofWater Infrastructure Projects, ensuring that allTechnical Designs Meet Client Requirements,Regulatory Standards, andProject Timelines.This role involvesManaging MultidisciplinaryDesign Teams, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and providing technical leadership throughout theProject LifecyclefromConcept DesigntoConstruction Handover.Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Manage the design process for Water Infrastructure Projects, including Pipelines, Pumping Stations, Reservoirs, and Treatment Facilities.Coordinate internal and external design teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications, Irish Water standards, and Regulatory requirements.Prepare and review Technical Designs, Drawings, and Documentation, Ensuring accuracy and Constructability.Liaise with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Subcontractors to Integrate Design and Construction activities.Conduct design risk assessments, ensuring all Health, Safety, and Environmental considerations are met.Manage project design schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time project delivery.Support tendering and bid processes by preparing Technical Documentation and Design Inputs.Maintain strong Stakeholder Relationships with Clients, Local Authorities, and Regulatory Bodies.Required Experience and Competencies:Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.5+ years' experience in Water Infrastructure Design and Project Management.Proven experience Delivering Projects in line with Irish Water or similar utility standards.Strong knowledge of design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent.Excellent Project Management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.Strong communication, problem-solving, and Stakeholder Management skills.Full clean driver's license essential.Benefits they offer are:Commercial Vehicle with fuel card, plus toll tag21 days annual leavePension - % will depend on the role and level of seniority – starts at 1.5%Laptop and phone€14.01 a day in line with Revenue Commissioner RulesInterested?
