About the Role:
A reputable healthcare organisation is seeking experienced and compassionate Staff Nurses to join their residential and day services across North Cork and South Limerick. The role focuses on providing high-quality care to adults and children with intellectual disabilities in line with HIQA and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver physical, psychological, and social care to service users.
2. Support and implement individualized care and behavioural programmes.
3. Maintain accurate nursing and administrative records.
4. Foster family engagement and provide support to parents/guardians.
5. Lead, supervise, and develop support staff.
6. Facilitate social, educational, and community integration opportunities.
7. Drive Foundation transport (mini-bus) as required.
Requirements:
8. Nursing qualification and registration with An Bord Altranais ( desirable).
9. Experience managing behaviours that challenge.
10. Ability to work on your own initiative and supervise staff/service users.
11. Full Irish/EU driving licence and indemnification on personal vehicle insurance.
