Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician
€75,000 – €79,000
Shifts 5 on 5 off
Location: Swords, Dublin
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as a Maintenance Technician, covering process equipment, utilities, instrumentation, and cabling.
Perform calibrations and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
Support production with changeovers, cleaning activities, and shutdown works.
Work to cGMP standards and ensure all Maintenance Engineer activities follow site procedures.
Accurately record maintenance and calibration work orders.
Provide feedback on equipment performance and spare part requirements.
Follow Lockout/Tagout and safety systems while performing engineering tasks.
Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Promote a proactive safety culture through toolbox talks and team initiatives.
Maintain workshop standards in line with 5S practices.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, instrumentation, and process equipment.
Familiarity with cGMP (desirable but not essential).
Ability to read, interpret, and complete technical documentation.
Safety-conscious with excellent problem-solving skills.
Team player with strong communication skills.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement.
