Role Title : Airfreight Import Operations Specialist
Business Unit : DHL Global Forwarding
Location : Cedar Drive, Co. Dublin
Scope of Role : Responsible for managing the end-to-end import documentation and delivery process for air freight shipments, ensuring timely coordination with internal teams and compliance with customer‑specific requirements.
Reports to : Airfreight Import Team Lead
Days & Hours of Work : Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities

Processes, handles and distributes all required documents in the receiving area
Ensures customer requirements are met & documents are completed in a timely & efficient manner
Liaise with GSC team re: customer specific requirements. Processes, handles, and distributes all required documents in the shipping area.
Ensure operational compliance to all revenue and international trade legislative requirements, and all requirements under Data Protection Legislation in addition to all DGF IE policies and procedures (H&S, Quality, Environmental, HR, etc), and work in a manner that supports the Company environment programme
Participate in the implementation of operational processes and perform work to the standards of Good Distribution practice (GDP) for Life Science business, as required.

Skills / Qualifications:

Expected years of experience (minimum)
Knowledge of AFR Import Operations

Expected Qualifications

Good MS Office Skills
Strong Admin Skills
Results Driven with attention to detail.
DG Qualification Advantageous
Envirotainer training Advantageous
Customs process knowledge beneficial.
