Calor has an exciting opportunity within their Bulk Operations Department for a
permanent position of a Bulk Delivery Driver
.
The role involves delivering multi-fuel types to our customers, including domestic, industrial, and commercial clients.
The position operates on a shift basis, including early mornings, days, and afternoons, on a rotational schedule working any 5 days over 7, including weekends.
THE JOB
Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle H&S checks before departing from the depot.
Deliver LPG, LNG, and other fuel types according to Calor procedures, on single or multi-drop basis.
Drive safely and efficiently, adhering to highway code rules.
Use onboard computer systems to record accurate delivery information.
Attend training sessions and participate in regular assessments.
Refuel vehicles as needed, following proper refuelling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, including the cab interior.
Report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns immediately, following company procedures.
Complete Near Miss reports as required.
Produce licences for inspection upon request.
Process and submit daily administration at the end of each shift.
Follow procedures outlined in the driver's manual and training materials.
Assist in training other drivers as needed.
Work a flexible schedule, including possible after-hours emergency calls.
Communicate clearly and effectively.
Perform minor yard duties as required.
Assist other drivers as a helper when necessary.
Comply with driver hours and working time legislation, including tachograph and break requirements.
Be flexible with early and late start times, from as early as 4:00 am or as late as 6:00 pm.
Operate all vehicle technology effectively.
Deliver excellent customer service, embodying Calor's values and standards of accountability and curiosity.
Prioritize health and safety for yourself and colleagues, reporting unsafe conditions or acts.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Transport Manager.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
Minimum education: Proficiency in written and spoken English, good math skills.
Leaving certificate or equivalent preferred.
At least 2 years of HGV driving experience.
Valid HGV licence suitable for tanker size (rigid or articulated).
ADR Certificate in bulk gases (Packages and Tanks).
Driver CPC qualifications and Digital Tachograph Card.
Up-to-date CPC modules.
Experience with multi and single drop deliveries.
Manual handling & Working at Heights certificates.
Strong health and safety awareness.
Experience with Tachograph regulations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Mechanics knowledge is advantageous.
Customer-first mindset.
Knowledge of digital logistics is beneficial.
Good geographical knowledge of Ireland.
LPG / LNG product knowledge is a plus.
