Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Succession Development Work closely with the SLT to identify future leadership needs and build a personal development plan for progression. Support the execution of strategic initiatives that align with long-term business goals. Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain sectors. Develop tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients. Conduct market research to anticipate industry trends and competitive activity. Account Management Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. Negotiate contracts and agreements in line with commercial objectives. Leadership Support Act as a key liaison between operational teams and the SLT to ensure alignment of commercial strategies. Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, market developments, and client feedback. Support budget planning, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring. Requirements Proven experience in a commercial management, account management, or business development role. Strong background in logistics, supply chain, or transportation. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and commercial acumen. Ability to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to succession planning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems preferred.
