* The ideal candidate will take ownership of process steps and contribute to key business drivers such as Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), Quality, Supply, and Cost.

Responsibilities

* Support attainment of key business metrics through provision of engineering support for value stream processes.
* Eliminate safety and quality risks in the process through delivery of robust engineering solutions.
* Lead costs by implementing scrap, reprocessing, and consumable projects.
* Develop stable and capable manufacturing processes through a structured approach.
* Prepare all relevant manufacturing specifications.
* Ensure production equipment meets national and regulatory requirements.
* Closure of quality actions such as audit actions, nonconforming reports, and corrective actions.
* Root cause analysis and implementation of robust solutions to supply and quality issues.
* Project management, providing timely and accurate reporting on project activities.
* Process input into value stream mapping and development of business plans.
* Determination of equipment layouts using Lean Manufacturing tools.

Requirements
">
* Relevant degree qualification in an Engineering or Science discipline with 5-6 years of experience.
* Desirable CNC experience.
* Demonstrated ability to lead significant projects to completion on time and within budget.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and decision-making abilities.
* Able to understand technical issues and provide practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
