The Team aims to provide a collaborative and supportive environment which delivers strong outcomes for the Group and for its team members. The Team is primarily made up of experienced accountants and is very committed and hard-working. As an ACCA Approved Employer, we provide a working environment that is supportive to ACCA members and trainees.The RoleContribute to the Group USGAAP and other local STAT/GAAP ledgers quarterly closing process, including general ledger population, account analysis and reconciliations.Work with various teams in the preparation of global regulatory quarterly/annual returns and financial statements across the PartnerRe Group.Work with various teams on the preparation of Corporation Tax and VAT/GST filings for various PartnerRe entities.Assist with process improvements.Collaborate in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.Support the Corporate Accounting managers in projects that may arise.Your ProfileNewly Qualified, or experienced Part Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or other recognised body with commensurate experience.Accounting experience to handle double entry bookings.Experience with a GAAP monthly/quarterly closing process.Experience in the Insurance/Reinsurance/Finance industry an advantage.Experience with accounting in a multicurrency, multi-entity landscape an advantage.Experience working with multinational grade accounting systems an advantage.Exposure to a Financial Statements preparation process.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, highly organised and capable of working in an international and culturally diverse environment, with a high degree of autonomy.Flexible with a positive attitude and works well as part of a team.Openness for continuous improvement.Proficient to strong MS Excel / MS Office skills.Fluent English.Additional Information:PartnerRe provides a working environment in which diversity is valued, where all employees feel welcome, respected, and empowered to perform at their best.
