At Alltec, we believe in doing things right, on time, and to the highest standard.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Telecoms Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare accurate cost estimates for telecoms and fibre projects, ensuring proposals are competitive, realistic, and aligned with project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for fibre optic, copper, and telecom infrastructure projects.Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to identify costs, risks, and resource requirements.Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotes for materials, labour, and equipment.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project objectives and deadlines.Produce comprehensive estimate reports and supporting documentation for management and clients.Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards.Maintain a database of historical costs, unit rates, and supplier pricing for reference in future projects.Stay updated on industry standards, materials, and best practices in fibre and telecom network installation.The Ideal Candidate Will HaveProven experience as a Telecoms Estimator or in a similar role within fibre or telecom projects.Strong understanding of telecoms infrastructure, fibre optics, ducts, cabling, and associated installation processes.Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.Proficiency in estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools.Good communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.QualificationsDiploma or degree in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.Industry certifications (e.g., CIHT, RICS, or equivalent) are a plus.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and training within a leading fibre network company.A collaborative, safety-focused, and fast-paced work environment.Exposure to large-scale fibre and telecoms projects across multiple sectors.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €14.00-€20.00 per hourExpected hours: 39 per weekBenefits:Bike to work schemeOn-site gymOn-site parkingSick payLanguage:English (required)Work Location: In person
