**Accounting Support Role**
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our finance team as an Accounts Assistant. This role will provide support in various areas, including accounts payable, supplier reconciliations, and financial reporting.
The Role
* Manage the accounts payable process and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and journals.
* Handle employee expenses, VAT returns, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and support stock control processes.
* Ensure month-end deadlines and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met efficiently.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Part or fully qualified accountancy certification (IATI, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
* 3+ years of solid accounting experience with listed duties.
* Strong experience in finance duties, including management accounts.
* Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
* Experience using accounting software.
* Detail-oriented, analytical, and a great team player.
