Due to continued growth, Vertiv/E&I Engineering Ltd is seeking an ambitious and motivated Engineering Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the regional engineering team primarily serving the EMEA market. We offer a market-leading salary, excellent development opportunities, and extensive support. Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership in planning, executing, and delivering project design packages, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety, and quality standards.
* Identify how engineering can contribute to the company's strategic initiatives and improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborate with global engineering teams to align design packages and standardize product offerings.
* Act as a point of escalation for resolving project issues, working with project management, production, and site services.
* Manage the core engineering department to deliver projects on time, adhering to standards.
* Promote a culture of high productivity, cost-effectiveness, and resource management.
* Encourage continuous improvement and innovation, monitoring industry trends and exploring new technologies.
* Foster a collaborative environment that supports growth, accountability, and team pride.
* Conduct quarterly reviews for employee development.
* Develop KPIs and measure department performance for reporting.
* Work with HR to support employee development.
* Align with the company's vision, mission, and strategic goals.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
* Undertake additional duties as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
* Third-level qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
* High standards for individual, team, and organizational achievement.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
* Understanding of business operations and the impact of technical decisions.
* Experience in strategic relationship management and influencing skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
