An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Structural / CSA QS Estimator to join a well-established and growing engineering and construction business based in Arklow.With a strong pipeline of industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects, this role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while developing your career within a supportive and ambitious organisation.What You'll Be DoingAs part of the commercial team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of tenders and project cost management activities.Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for Structural and CSA projectsReviewing drawings, specifications and project documentationCarrying out quantity take-offs and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs)Assessing subcontractor and supplier quotationsSupporting procurement and commercial evaluationsLiaising with project managers, engineers, clients and subcontractorsIdentifying commercial risks and opportunities during tender stagesMonitoring project costs and supporting cost control initiativesAssisting with contract administration and project reportingWhat We're Looking ForQualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline5 years plus experience in IrelandPrevious experience in estimating or CSA commercial rolesStrong understanding of structural and construction methodologiesExperience within industrial, commercial or infrastructure projectsExcellent analytical, numerical and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating softwareAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamDesirableTendering and procurement experienceKnowledge of Irish construction contracts and regulationsCost planning and value engineering experienceFamiliarity with AutoCAD or project management softwareWhat\'s On OfferCompetitive salary packageLong-term career progression opportunitiesExposure to high-profile engineering and construction projectsSupportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunity to join a growing business with an exciting project portfolioInterested?If you\'re looking for a new challenge and would like to discuss this opportunity in confidence, please contact Maeve Curran - maeve.curran@allsite.ie
