Senior Retail Management Position Available
We are seeking an experienced Senior Store Manager to lead our team at a busy retail branch. The successful candidate will have significant retail management experience, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to drive sales while managing costs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead sales performance to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) while delivering exceptional customer service
2. Supervise and motivate the sales team, providing coaching, support, and ongoing development to sustain high morale and productivity
3. Maintain outstanding store presentation, ensuring cleanliness, merchandising standards, and a welcoming shopping environment
4. Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, security protocols, and relevant regulatory requirements
5. Manage daily operational aspects of the store, including staffing levels, schedule planning, and stock rotation to ensure efficient site performance
Requirements and Qualifications
* Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in high-volume big box retail management
* Strong business awareness and practical understanding of the local retail landscape
* In-depth knowledge of categories such as agri-inputs, builders' supplies, plumbing, electrical, and DIY hardware
* Proven track record in delivering outstanding customer service aligned with company values
* Excellent leadership and team-management skills, with strong attention to detail and organisational discipline
* Experience in customer-facing roles and ability to uphold and embed the brand's culture and values
