IT Contract Recruiter
to join our team in a delivery-focused role.
The Role
As an IT Contract Recruiter, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end recruitment process for
IT contract vacancies
. These can include roles such as:
* DevOps & Cloud Engineers
* Delivery Managers
* Data & Software Leaders
* IT Project Managers
* Test & QA Specialists
* Scrum Masters
* Interim Senior Managers
* Change & Transformation Leaders
* Cybersecurity Specialists
…and everything in between.
Working closely with our dedicated research and sourcing partner, you'll ensure the right talent is identified, mapped, and engaged for each project.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with our sourcing partner to build targeted talent pipelines.
* Managing outreach messaging and engaging with candidates directly.
* Screening and interviewing candidates to ensure technical capability and cultural fit.
* Negotiating rates with both clients and contractors.
* Managing the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement and onboarding.
* Ensuring contractors are supported through onboarding, contracts, insurance, compliance, and timesheet management.
* Building and managing strong client relationships
, acting as a trusted partner.
* Developing accounts
by identifying new opportunities, maximising value for clients and contractors, and supporting our ambition to grow IT contract numbers.
This is not a cold-calling, direct sales role — but you will be expected to build rapport, exceed client expectations, and proactively look for additional revenue opportunities where everyone wins.
About You
We are looking for someone with
recruitment experience
(agency, in-house TA, or IT vendor background). You should:
* Be confident interviewing and screening candidates.
* Have strong business acumen and be capable of robust conversations with both contractors and clients.
* Be experienced in probing, asking direct questions, negotiating rates, closing deals, and overseeing onboarding.
* Bring proven
account management and development skills
.
* Ideally have knowledge (or a willingness to learn) of IT contracting governance – e.g. limited company contractors, umbrella services, contracts, insurances, onboarding processes, timesheet management, and invoicing.
* Have a working knowledge of IT concepts (e.g. software development, networks, operating systems, cloud).
