About the Sales and Events Role
We are recruiting for a seasoned sales professional to join our hospitality team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to boost revenue from corporate events, private functions, and international clients.
* Nurture new business opportunities, building lasting relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate partners.
* Lead the planning and execution of conferences, weddings, and private events, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional standards.
* Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate event logistics.
* Manage event finances, contracts, deposits, and timelines effectively to drive profitability.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing tailored solutions and outstanding service throughout the event lifecycle.
* Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and report to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in sales and events within the hospitality sector.
* In-depth knowledge of corporate and private event planning.
* Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
* Exceptional organisational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with event management software, online booking platforms, and Microsoft Office.
* Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings.
