Responsibilities
Clinical leadership within the Emergency Department
Participating in departmental rotas and providing senior cover
Supporting service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
Providing expert assessment, treatment planning, and management for patients
Mentoring and teaching NCHDs, trainees, and other multidisciplinary colleagues

€235,000 – €283,000 Consultant salary scale (2026 HSE Public Only Consultant Contract)

Suitable applicants may hold
UK CCT in Emergency Medicine (CESR not eligible)
EU Specialist qualification recognised under EU Directive
American Board certification in Emergency Medicine
Australian or New Zealand Fellowship
Eligibility for Irish Medical Council Specialist Registration in Emergency Medicine is required.
