Overview
Senior Cyber Security Specialist
eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Senior Cyber Security Specialist. This is a hybrid long term daily rate contract position located with our client in Dublin City. Work pattern is 2 days per week onsite.
Mandatory Requirements:
1. years in a relevant cybersecurity role and should be/have operated at Manager/strategic level
2. A qualification at Level 8 on the NFQ major award (i.e. honours degree), or higher, in a relevant discipline (computing or computational discipline) or other relevant field.
3. A recognised Cyber Security qualification, e.g. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar recognised standard.
4. Should be familiar with standards such as NIS2, CyberFundamentals Framework, NIST Critical Security Framework, ISO .
Required Experience:
5. Experience of leading the design and delivery of Cyber Security services and solutions including project management, managing budgets and strategic management etc. including relevant experience of policy development.
6. Experience in driving Cyber Security enabled transformational change in a dynamic and complex environment.
7. Experience of Cyber Security management experience including leading teams, risk management, incident management and managing resources at an appropriate scale and senior level.
8. Experience of International Security Frameworks and Standards, e.g. NIS2, CyberFundamentals Framework, NIST Critical Security Framework, ISO .
9. Experience of programme management.
10. Communicating clearly and effectively to various stakeholders at different levels, including those from both technical and non-technical backgrounds and those at end- user and senior management levels.
Deliverables:
11. Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
12. Responsibility for security incident management, monitoring, control, and reporting.
13. Responsibility for monitoring of log aggregation across the client systems, and interaction with third party providers resources when necessary.
14. Lead on the development of the Disaster Recovery plan as part of Business Continuity planning.
15. Engage with third party providers to ensure that services provided are in adherence to the client security policies.
16. Development of risk management processes to include identification of existing and emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, and to develop processes and/or technical solutions in order to mitigate them.
17. Implement infrastructure security baselines.
18. Support the development, and lead the implementation of the Cyber Security strategy, while ensuring that all areas of the organisation understand and follow the agreed strategy.
19. Coordinate the response/escalation to any cyber incidents and be responsible for the review/reporting of those incidents.
20. Conduct and coordinate cyber security planning and response exercises.
21. Deliver projects defined within the security roadmap.
22. Collaborate with HR to develop and rollout a Cyber Security awareness program.
23. Promote good security practice and outline risks to all parts of the business.
24. Provide security oversight for the migration to Microsoft Office
25. Undertake Information security compliance health checks including periodic security reviews.
26. Facilitate Cyber Security targeted tabletop exercises
27. Assist with Microsoft Azure AD security configuration and management.
