We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, processing payroll, tax compliance, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statementsPerform sales, bank and ledgers reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Accurately processing of payrollManage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely tax payments.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.Conduct internal audits to identify financial discrepancies and implement corrective actions.Work closely with the external auditorsUtilize accounting software to maintain financial data and generate reportsWork closely with management to improve financial processes and strategies.Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience in a similar role.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g QuickBooks, Sage Accounting) and Microsoft Office Suite.Proven experience in payroll and VAT processesStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Experience in hospitality industry is an added advantageSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftFour Days per weekJob Type: PermanentPay: €30,000.00-€33,400.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsFood allowanceSick payAbility to commute/relocate:Westport, CO.
